Howard Gardner is famous in educational circles for his theory of multiple intelligences. His ideas at first were controversial but are now widely accepted and applied to modern educational principles.
His original eight principles were first published in his book "Frames of Mind":
Over the years, he's proposed more types of intelligence, including
- Moral Intelligence - the intelligence that defines our character and morality
- Existential Intelligence - can be referred to as our spirituality
